Players to Watch:
NC State: Shayla Fields, Khadijah Whittington.
Clemson: D'Lesha Lloyd, Lele Hardy.
The Skinny: The magic was not there for NC State, whose failures in post defense led to this upset. Kay Yow said she'll be back next year in the post game. Expect to see frosh-heavy State continue to develop their team in the WNIT, with at least one home date.
Game 3: #7 Boston College 57, #10 Virginia Tech 47

Players to Watch:
Boston College: Stephanie Murphy, Carolyn Swords.
Virginia Tech: Brittany Cook, Andrea Barbour.
The Skinny: Even with Andrea Barbour back from suspension BC was too much for Tech in the first half, leading 27-15 at the break in this Big East-like affair. Both teams shot 40% by the time it ended, and the Hokies outrebounded the Eagles...but Tech's 19 turnovers gave BC 21 points, far more than the final margin.
Game 4: #6 Florida State 57, #11 Wake Forest 52

Players to Watch:
Florida State: Jacinta Monroe, Tanae Davis-Cain, Shante Williams
Wake Forest: Corrine Groves, Alex Tchangoue
The Skinny: As Rob predicted, this game was much closer than many expected - FSU jumped out early but hit a severe cold streak, and back to back Deac treys put them up by 2 at the break. But the Noles had just too much, the Deacs couldn't get a stop in the last five minutes, losing their chance at a winning season. FSU plays Duke at 8 PM Friday.
