ball. She hit some tough hook shots, had a nice pass to Vernerey for a score,
blocked shots and alertly went after loose balls. This was not a brilliant
game by her, but she was one of the few Devils who didn't look completely
outclassed. |

uncomfortable doing so. She had 5 offensive boards but was completely
ineffective as an offensive force and was absolutely no match for Maya Moore or
Tiffany Hayes. She needs to continue to be aggressive, starting with offensive
rebounding, and the rest will come eventually. |

needed, but UConn welcomed her taking jump shots instead of finding a way to
get to the line. It took her 16 shots to get to 13 points. While she did ahve
a couple of assists, UConn did a nice job of reducing her to one-on-one player
status. |

guard Bria Hartley. She scored on a bank, a jumper and in transition and found
K.Thomas in the post a few times for scores. UConn did take away her ability to
really run a team for much of the game, successfully cutting her off from the
rest of her squad. |

offensive boards. UConn made sure to body her up to keep her away from the
basket, but it was a shame Duke couldn't get her the ball more. |

see her move well and not back down from the challenge. |
