She scored on an early post-up and managed to will another ball into the basket over Sandra Garcia. Late in the half, she came up with a couple of key stickbacks that helped hold Wake at bay. In the second half, she scored on yet another stickback, finished a high-low and scored on yet another post-up. She also came alive defensively after giving up several easy baskets in the first half, blocking three shots and causing Wake's players to think twice about challenging her in the second half. She swept the boards as per usual and was just a rebound away from another double-double. Wake made sure to keep an extra body on her throughout much of the game after her triple-double in Winston-Salem, but Liz still managed to make a decent impact at both ends despite not giving a consistently focused performance. |

She scored twice in transition, finished on a cut and running hook shot, drained a turnaround 17' jumper and sank a three to create some early separation for Duke. While she was at it, she also grabbed 5 rebounds. Foul trouble limited her effectiveness somewhat in the second half, but she still found Williams for a high-low, grabbed an offensive rebound and dished it to Liston, got a stickback and drained a late three. Other than those silly turnovers (mostly on passes where she clearly wasn't focusing on the floor), Haley did her usual hard work, going after loose balls and forcing some jump balls. Duke will need her to be at her best battling the tall timber of UNC. |

First, she found Selby for her second three of the game. Then she hit a stickback. She followed that up with 2 free throws, and finished this mini-run with a stickback plus the foul. That was 10 straight points that she either scored or helped create that pushed Duke's lead from 45-25 to 55-29. She got into double figures in scoring with a late drive to complete her first career double-double. |

Other than a confidence-building assist to Liston late in the first half, that was a twenty minutes to forget for Selby. That's why hitting those threes in the second half was so important, because it allowed her to gain much-needed confidence while boosting her team to a big lead. She started because her defense is so disruptive, but she will need to get it done at both ends in order to continue to get big minutes. |

She was also fouled hard a couple of times, causing some gasps from the crowd, but she calmly got up and nailed some free throws (though she did throw a glare at her opponents). She found Peters for a jumper, Scheer for a short turnaround shot and Peters on a long bomb, as well as setting up Selby for a three in the second half. While she made several questionable passes that got picked off, she was aggressive the whole game and got plenty of steals of her own. |

She had an assist to Peters for a three but missed 2 open attempts of her own. Liston did score on a post-up on a pass from Selby, and just seeing the ball go through the basket helped her. In the second half, she made a point of hustling for the ball, grabbing 3 boards and getting a couple of steals. She went after some held balls with a great deal of ferocity. That yielded a steal & layup as well as a driving layup. Duke needs to find ways to get her going in bigger games, because her shooting can make her a huge weapon, one that really stretches the floor. Duke will need to do a better job of spacing the floor in general against UNC, because the Heels will use a lot of zone. |
