The button to donate is at the bottom, but before you go find it, please hear us out. :) Two important points to share here. First, DWHoops.com is free. We don't see that changing on our watch, even if we don't see a single donation. So don't feel pressured to "help keep us going." Your donations would be used to make the site better. Second, we hope that before you support us, that you've first supported Duke Women's Basketball directly. We hope that you have purchased Duke Women's Basketball season tickets - even if you're not in the area, you can purchase a season ticket and donate it to local youth programs. If you have general admission tickets, consider upgrading them to reserved seats. And, of course, come to as many games as you can, and bring your friends. OK to bring your enemies too, as long as they're not cheering against the Blue Devils! We hope you're a member of the Iron Dukes. If you haven't joined, please consider it - there's room for many levels of donors, big and small. Now, perhaps Iron Dukes isn't your style, but you still want to make a donation to directly benefit Duke Women's Basketball. That's possible, too, and Mark could probably put you in touch with the right folks to make it happen. OK, so you've considered and done the above, and that money's just burning a hole in your pocket. Well, wait a second and we'll let you know just how we'd use it. Right now we've got two main priorities: being able to travel to more games, and major upgrades to our photo equipment. We'd like to cover more road games next season, but, barring a change in scheduling, the ACC games aren't gonna be the close ones. We'd like to buy another lens or two, including one "long" enough to shoot good photos at "the other end" - not semi-blurry stuff from my current 85mm lens, which I try to include only for crucial plays. And with almost four seasons and 25,000+ pictures taken, my "not quite pro" camera may be coming to the end of its journey soon. So that's our story.
