- Warming up - Custom basketballs for the Maggie Dixon Classic - Duke intros - Wanisha Smith in the pregame huddle - Pitt intros - Opening Tip - Chante gets control of a tap after the tip - Joy Cheek missed Duke's first shot of the game - One of Duke's 16 first half turnovers, this a Pitt steal of an Abby Waner pass - Chante Black drives... - ...and her easy bucket puts Duke back within two - Carrem Gay launches from outside... - ...Chante Black tries to control the rebound from Carrem's miss... - ...but nobody can seize it, out of bounds to Pitt. Over the course of the game 15 rebounds were batted OB. - Coach Agnus Berenato, formerly of Georgia Tech, welcomes her players back to the bench. - Coach Joanne P. McCallie encourages her squad at the first media timeout - Carrem Gay made this shot and was fouled, but missed the free throw - A fast break resulted from a Chante Black block, and Brittany Mitch found Carrem Gay... - ...Carrem finished, her second consecutive basket. Duke scored almost 20% of their points on fast breaks after just one fast break basket against Rutgers. - Down six, Joy Cheek boards an Abby Waner missed three. Duke would go right back to her for a make, cutting the deficit in half. - Joy Cheek is fouled in the paint by Shayla Scott. In this case the team turnover was aptly named as players deferred until it was too late. - Chante Black works against Pitt's Marcedes Walker... - ...and with Chelsea Cole rotating in to help... - ...there wasn't much of a shot there... - ...and Cole had perfect position for the board. - A steal for Emily Waner - Carrem, Abby, and Brittany wait to come back in the game. - Abby's layup with 6:07 left in the 1st began a 10-0 Duke run - From the top of the key, Chante Black dishes one of her 4 assists... - ...to Karima Christmas, who lays it in. - Chante Black rejects Jania Sims - Abby Waner drives, but not all the way to the rim, and misses a short jumper - Abby Waner goes in for a layup to tie, but there's no shot because she travelled first - Another chance for Abby to tie... - ...but another miss. - Keturah Jackson blocks Jania Sims - A steal by KJ led to a hoop by Karima Christmas, knotting the score at 24 with just over 4 minutes remaining in the 1st.
